Gazi Osman Paşa Was Commemorated during the 115th Anniversary of His Death

Hero of the Siege of Pleven, Gazi Osman Paşa was commemorated with prayers at his tomb in Fatih Mosque, following the Friday prayer, in the 115th Year of his death.

Fatih Municipality commemorated Gazi Osman Paşa in the 115th year of his death, and offered pilaf with meat and ayran to the citizens doing the Friday prayer in Fatih Mosque accompanied by the Ottoman Military Band.

Fatih Municipality commemorated the hero of Pleven, Gazi Osman Paşa in the 115th year of his death with the program organized in the courtyard of Fatih Mosque. Fatih Mayor Mustafa Demir offered pilaf with meat, sweets and ayran to the citizens, after they performed the Friday prayer in Fatih Mosque, accompanied by the marching music of the Ottoman Military Band within the organized program.

While eating the Ottoman pilaf with meat offered by the Fatih Municipality, the citizen Ahmet Doğdu said, “May God bless them for all these activities, those who perform and those who organize the activity. May God allow us to be among those who follow him, and infuse us with his bliss.”

Ahmet Issız said, “Today we commemorated Gazi Osman Paşa in the 115th anniversary of his death. Gazi Osman Paşa is from Tokat and is a Pleven hero.”

The tomb of Gazi Osman Paşalocated in Fatih Mosque courtyard was visited by the citizens and received prayers.
