Written and staged based on the theme of war, Letters from Gelibolu / ’Bir Savaşın Hal-i Pür Melali’ is based on the Çanakkale War that occurred in Gelibolu in our recent history and it addresses the transformation and depression of people at war from a universal perspective.

Narrating with 'the very self of Gelibolu' how hurtful war is in terms of transformation of people based on the transformation of Bill Blankson who tries to see the Turkish trenches using a mirror similar to a periscope and yet sees himself and cannot recognize himself thinking he is seeing a Turkish soldier, and a British General who wants to drink his five o'clock tea while chilling in Istanbul against the scenery of Bosporus, Letters from Gelibolu aims to resemble a movie on stage with its text, direction, sounds, effects and stage design.
