In order to contribute to the development of fishing as the fish season begins every year, the "12th Historical Peninsula Fish Festival" has been organized with the collaboration of Fatih Municipality and KUMDER ("Kumkapı Touristic Restaurants and Salesmen Solidarity Association). There is beautiful fish food offered by Kumkapı salesmen with their skilled cooks to the guests from fried mussels to fried anchovy, fish paddies to fish börek. It has been a nice festival where beautiful fish products were offered to the guests. We have enough fish to cater to about 30,000 people. The weather is good as well and this year Istanbul is enjoying a nice season in terms of bonito. The one we are now distributing is the bonito from this season."
