Corporate Games Races have Started in Haliç

İstanbul Corporate Games Dragon Boat Races, the biggest and most comprehensive sports organization within corporate races, have started. 128 companies will show their strength in the field of sports during the races that will continue for 2 days.

Corporate Games, the 15th of which was held with the main sponsorship of Fatih Municipality began with the philosophy of "Lifelong Sports". 3322 participants from 28 companies will compete in Dragon Boat, Sailing, Bocce and Backgammon races in Balat Şair Nedim Park on 13-14 May.

There are spectacular moments in Dragon Boat race where competition is mostly experienced in Istanbul Corporate Games. Participants who want to successfully complete the Istanbul step of the Dragon Boat Race, the biggest and most comprehensive sports organization within corporate races are competing fiercely in Haliç.

“Our aim is to spread the sport to the country”

Ersin Gençtürk, Turkey Responsible of Istanbul Corporate Games, who organized the races in cooperation with Fatih Municipality, said that they have organized the World Championships as a result of the competitions they held in 38 countries. Stating that they are also preparing the participants from Turkey for the World Championship, Gençtürk said, “There are 3322 participants and 128 companies in this organization we have held with the main sponsorship of Fatih Municipality. Corporate Games take place in 38 countries around the world. The champions of these 38 countries meet at the World Championships. We will also take Turkey Champions here today and send them to the World Championship. In previous years, we had world championships in a number of branches. Our main goal here is to spread the sport to the whole country and to meet amateur athletes with sponsors.”

During the races to be held on May 13-14, 128 different companies from the leading companies of the world and Turkey will compete in 16 different branches and will try to show their strength in their business life also in sports.
