2 Awards to Fatih Municipality

Fatih Municipality received 2 separate awards at Golden Ant Municipality Awards in district municipalities category.

Organized by Marmara Municipalities Union with support of Turkcell and known as the most significant local governments award in the public, Golden Ant Municipalities Awards are given to recipients with a ceremony organized at Istanbul Taksim.

Organized traditionally and accepted as the most significant local governments award of Turkey, Marmara Municipalities Union Model Municipalities Project Contest is changed as GOLDEN ANT municipality awards as of this year. In the scope of Golden Ant contest organized for the fifth time with support of Turkcell this year and breaking a record with a total of 512 participants in six different categories, after elimination of projects that could not pass preselection together with unrealized projects, the remaining 203 prominent projects were advanced to finals.

Prof. Dr. Mikdat Kadıoğlu and Prof. Dr. Rafet Bozdoğan chaired the science committee and 12 academics and practitioners were jury members of the Golden Ant contest. Its results were announced at award ceremony organized at Taksim Martı Hotel. One of the popular faces of screens, İnci Ertuğrul presented the ceremony where Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mental and Physically Handicapped Performance Group (İSÖM-X) gave a mini concert.

Our municipality received the second prize in Golden Ant Awards with "Fatih Mobil" project. We also received Turkcell special prize with our "Smart Bicycle " Project.
