Award from Union of Historical Towns to Fatih Municipality

Fatih Municipality was awarded in the project branch of Contest to Encourage Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage Conservation Projects and Practices organized by Union of Historical Towns within the scope of YAPEX Restoration and Cultural Heritage and Conservation Exhibition organized with the theme of Relationship of Towns with Rural Heritage.

Fatih Municipality participated in YAPEX Restoration and Cultural Heritage and Conservation Exhibition with the theme of Relationship of Towns with Rural Heritage, which is the only exhibition organized in this area in Turkey. The exhibition brought together all investors, designers and producers, national and international institutions working for the restoration, protection, function and transfer of the old and recent architectural works that make up the cultural heritage in Istanbul in addition to building restoration and renovations and renovating applications. Within the scope of the exhibition, Union of Historical Towns organized the Contest to Encourage Historical and Cultural Heritage Conservation Projects and Practices. Mayor M. Ergün Turan received award of Fatih Municipality in the project branch of the competition. After receiving the award, Mayor Turan visited the stand of Fatih Municipality with Chairman of Union of Historical Towns and Kahramanmaraş Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Hayrettin Güngör.
