European Mobility Week Activities Kicks Off in Sirkeci

Mobility Marathon, organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure for the European Mobility Week, kicked off on the Sirkeci Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line.

The marathon, in which Mr. Adil Karaismailoğlu, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure and Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan was accompanied by the youth, was started on the Sirkeci Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line. Making a statement in this venue, Minister Karaismailoğlu noted that they especially encourage both public transportation and individual mobility, bicycle use and pedestrian-oriented transportation as the Ministry. Karaismailoğlu said: "Today, we came together with our friends at Sirkeci Train Station within the scope of our European Mobility Week event. At Sirkeci Train Station, we examined both public transportation and pedestrian-oriented transportation projects between Sirkeci and Kazlıçeşme. Our project continues expeditiously. Before May 2023, we will put our Kazlıçeşme-Sirkeci Rail System and Pedestrian Focused New Generation Transportation Project into service."
