Fatih Municipality Received 4 Awards on Informatics

At Stars of Informatics 2010 E-Transformation Contest organized by Informatics Association of Turkey (TBD), Fatih Municipality received the first prize in e-Mobile and e-Town/e-City categories, the second prize in e-Government category, and the third prize in e-Education category.

Organized by Informatics Association of Turkey (TBD) to promote distinctive web projects that ensured transformation over the internet or that carries business structure to the internet and increase interest in e-transformation, the Stars of Informatics 2010 E-Transformation Contest was concluded.

Winners of the contest organized by complete support of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Transportation, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (ICTA), State Planning Organization, Informatics NGOs and the private sector were determined by more than 25 members of the jury and popular vote. Fatih Municipality website www.fatih.bel.tr received four awards at award ceremony organized at Kadir Has University on November 29th. Fatih Municipality website www.fatih.bel.tr received the first prize at e-Mobile and e-Town/e-City categories of the contest while it also received the second prize in e-Government category and the third prize in e-Education category.

Deputy Mayor Okan Erhan OFLAZ said: “We are very pleased that we received awards in all four categories that we entered the contest and being awarded by Informatics Association of Turkey”. Oflaz noted awards are among motivating factors.
