Fatih Municipality Received Energy 50001 Management System Certification

Fatih Municipality received 50001 Energy Management System Certification from QSI company accredited by TURKAK and IAF in fight against climate change and achieved national and international standards. In addition, Fatih Municipality became the first municipality in Istanbul to receive this certification.

During Energy Efficiency Week organized on January 08-14, Fatih Municipality received 50001 Energy Management System certification. In addition, Fatih Municipality became the first municipality in Istanbul to receive this certificate. This success was achieved with contribution of all employees of our municipality who pursued fight against climate change targets. Our municipality that aims at contributing to low carbon economy and principles of protecting the environment targets decreasing energy consumption and increasing energy efficiency. Using appropriate resources and technologies to increase efficiency is planned in line with this purpose.

This document is received QSI company accredited by TURKAK and IAF and contributed to establishment of the required system and processes to increase ISO 50001 energy performance and efficiency.
