Fountain of Hafız Ahmed Pasha Complex Regained Water

Cleaning and joint filling works were completed at Fountain of Hafız Ahmed Pasha Complex and the fountain regained water.

Fountain of Hafız Ahmed Pasha Complex is in Ali Kuşçu District, on Fatih Avenue. The Fountain is a part of the complex constructed by Vizier Hafız Ahmed Pasha on 1595-96. The original epitaph of the Fountain did not survive until our day. The fountain was rejuvenated with the complex between 1976-1991 and a new epitaph was added in this period. The Fountain made of cut stone has a single facade and a pointed arch. The Fountain was restored with cleaning and joint filling works.
