Our Aid to the Earthquake Region is on the Way

Our aid materials prepared in line with the needs of the earthquake zone under the coordination of Fatih Municipality and our FARK (Fatih Municipality Search and Rescue) debris removal teams set off for the earthquake zone.

The 7.4 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş was strongly felt in many provinces. In the first minutes of the earthquake, Fatih District Governor Cafer Sarılı and Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan initiated coordination activities and prepared aid materials in line with the information received from AFAD. 500 baby blankets, 650 blankets, 202 heaters, 50 bedchairs, 13,500 adult diapers, 13,500 children diapers, 8,100 baby diapers, 4,000 transparent raincoats, 5,260 berets, 140 coats and 2,100 sweaters were prepared for the earthquake victims. In addition, FARK (Fatih Municipality Search and Rescue) team of 19 people set out to the earthquake zone with all the necessary equipment.
