Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Participated in the Opening Program of Kariye Mosque with Video Conference

Kariye Mosque was opened after 79 years with a program our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in with video conference and Fatih Mayor Mr. M. Ergün Turan, Istanbul Governor Mr. Davut Gül, Fatih District Governor Mr. Cafer Sarılı, AK Party Istanbul District Chairman Mr. Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and Istanbul District Manager of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Coşkun Yılmaz were also present.

201 works including Kariye Mosque were opened at Foundations Week Centennial Special Mass Opening Ceremony where our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in with video conference and Fatih Mayor Mr. M. Ergün Turan, Istanbul Governor Mr. Davut Gül, Fatih District Governor Mr. Cafer Sarılı, AK Party Istanbul District Chairman Mr. Osman Nuri Kabaktepe, and Istanbul District Manager of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Coşkun Yılmaz were also present. Mayor Turan noted that sound of call to prayer rose up at Kariye Mosque after 79 years and the mosque was opened to its congregation once again, thanking to our President followed by Directorate General of Foundations that contributed to protection and maintaining of the cultural heritage with restoration works, wishing the opening to bring good fortune.
