Registration Began for 14th Volunteer Tourism Ambassadors!

Fatih Belediyesi Gençlik ve Spor Birimi tarafından bu yıl 14. kez düzenlenecek olan "Gönüllü Turizm Elçileri" projesi için başvurular başladı. Son başvuru tarihi 30 Mayıs.

Applications began for the “Volunteer Tourism Ambassadors” project that will be organized by Fatih Municipality Youth and Sports Unit for the 14th time this year. Deadline for applications is May 30th.

Volunteer Tourism Ambassadors will assist tourists that come to Fatih that is one of the most important culture tourism routes of Türkiye to facilitate their travels for the 14th time this year. The project ensures tourists that come to the town are satisfied while also providing the volunteer young people with the opportunity to socialize, improve their foreign language skill, and meet with people from all around the world. The Tourism Ambassadors that are selected with written tests and interviews every year present free guidance services at Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, Yerebatan, Divanyolu, Covered Bazaar, and Eminönü areas in various languages including English, Spanish, German, Arabic, French, Farsi, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Russian. Young people between the ages of 16 and 30 who provide services wearing t-shirts that read “Bana Sor/Ask Me” are given certificate of participation at the conclusion of the project.
