Stars of Informatics Innovation 2016 Award to Fatih Municipality

Fatih Municipality received first prize in Stars of Informatics Innovation 2016 Contest. The leading municipality in informatics, Fatih Municipality was awarded the winning prize in ‘Environment’ category of corporate section of Stars of Informatics Innovation 2016 Contest organized by Istanbul Branch of Informatics Association of Turkey (TBD) and Bahçeşehir University. Fatih Municipality received the winning award in the contest organized annually involving municipalities giving online services

The contest is organized to encourage e-transformation, share best practices with other project owners, raise consciousness on e-transformation and support Turkey to become an Information Society and is participated by all stars of information in private or public domain from all around Turkey that achieved online transformation or that carried business structure to the Internet. In the contest Fatih Municipality received the first prize with “ÇEVKO MOBİL” application of Fatih Municipality Directorate of Environmental Protection whereby daily street cleaning can be monitored online on instant information screen. At the award ceremony that was organized at Bahçeşehir University Beşiktaş Campus, Deputy Mayor Okan Erhan Oflaz received the first prize on behalf of Fatih Municipality from Informatics Association of Turkey (TBD) Istanbul Branch Manager Ahmet Tosunoğlu.
