The August 30 Victory Day Ceremony was Held on Vatan Street

On the 100th anniversary of the August 30 Victory Day, ceremonies were held at many locations in Fatih. Vatan Street was one of the addresses of these celebrations.

Many programs and ceremonies were held in Istanbul on the occasion of the August 30 Victory Day. One of those points was Vatan Street, on which our municipality building is located. For the ceremony, Vatan Street was closed to traffic. Security forces took intense security measures in and around the ceremony area. The members of protocol, who got on the ceremony vehicle, greeted the citizens. After the National Anthem and a moment of silence, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's message for the August 30 Victory Day was read.
