The Painting Com petition on Space and Memory in the Walled City is finalised

The results of the painting competition "Space and Memory in the Walled City", which has been held for the second time this year and where a different theme is reflected on canvases every year, have been announced.

The main theme of the competition this year was Fatih District with its daily life, cultural heritage, cultural identity, traditional and modern roots, and places of accumulation and district textures. Pınar Baran won the first place award, Ruşen Polat won the second prize and Selma Kulan won the third prize in the competition where the dialogue of memory with space was reflected by associating it with the city, square and society. In addition to the awards, 3 honourable mentions, 3 Fatih Municipality special awards, 12 exhibition awards were presented and the full list of the winners is available here.
