The Productive Fatih Entrepreneurship Programme is launched

The Productive Fatih Entrepreneurship Programme, which is organized by Fatih Municipality and offers young people the opportunity to become entrepreneurs in the digital world, has been launched with a promotional event attended by Fatih Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan and young people. In his opening speech at the programme, Mayor Mehmet Ergün Turan stated that in the last 20 years, revolutionary works have been carried out in many fields such as healthcare, sports, industry and education in our country and he added: "Especially the successes we have achieved with the National Technology Move make us proud in every field. The common denominator of all these breakthroughs and services is our young people, that is, you. You are the assurance of the Century of Türkiye".

MAYOR TURAN: “OUR DOOR IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR YOUR IDEAS”

We have always stood by our word. We told them, "Come to us with your imaginations and ideas and let's realise them together". This is how the Productive Fatih Entrepreneurship project came to life. In the surveys we conducted in the field, our young people expressed to us that most of them would like to receive services in these fields. And we did our part. Our door is always open for your ideas and opinions. And let me remind you this again. There have been 780 applications to our Productive Fatih Entrepreneurship Programme. Participants will benefit from training, weekly activities and mentoring support in the first phase. In the first part of the 12-week training, they will receive 4-stage basic entrepreneurship training and participate in a series of practical activities within the framework of entrepreneurship training. Our trainings will end on March 13th. After that, our programme will be completed with the project evaluation phase. I would like to thank our stakeholders Productive Academy and the Commercialization Centre of Istanbul, and congratulate all the young people participating in the Productive Fatih programme.”

PRODUCTIVE FATH PROGRAMME

In the programme, which will be held online and will last for 2 months, young people will have the opportunity to consult with many mentors from industry professionals to start-up ecosystem stakeholders, while receiving trainings prepared by experts in their fields on many topics from the basics of technology entrepreneurship to idea development, from team building to customer interviews. At the end of the process, the successful projects will be presented to a VIP jury and the best ones will be selected and awarded.
