Fatih Mayor M. Ergün Turan hosted United Nations Volunteers Program Committee in Fatih. Following the meeting in Topkapı, Mayor Turan gave information to the committee that completed tree planting as a volunteer activity at Karasurları People’s Garden which is one of the most effective applications of urban rehabilitation understanding in the city on the 1st stage of the garden that was completed and its 2nd stage where developments are still continuing. Afterwards, the guests visited Yedikule Fortress. Mayor Turan, who was pleased to host the committee members, accompanied the guests throughout the visit.
