We Hosted European Guests in Fatih in the Scope of Erasmus Project

European Turks and young residents of Fatih came together in the scope of the Erasmus+ project conducted at Neslişah Sultan Culture and Sports Center, Ideas Workshop of Fatih Municipality.

Stage one of the Erasmus+ project titled "Understanding Refugees and Immigrants – Social Youth Movement Project" numbered 2022-3-TR01-KA153-YOU-000103037 conducted in the organization of Erasmus+ Mobility Projects for Youth Workers (KA153-YOU) with German partner European Tulip Club eV. was organized at Neslişah Sultan Culture and Sports Center, Ideas Workshop of Fatih Municipality on September 11-18, 2023. In the scope of the project, European Turks that are second, third, and fourth generation descendants of the Turkish workers that emigrated to Germany with the labor agreement (Recruitment Agreement between Türkiye and Germany) dated 1961 came together with young residents of Faih and conducted thematic workshops and verbal history studies. Representatives from the German partner of the project, European Tulip Club eV., gave information to young residents of Fatih about applications in Germany. We hosted our guests at Neslişah Sultan Culture Center, Yedikule fortress, Çatladıkapı Facility and various areas of Fatih. Stage two of the project will be conducted in Berlin, Germany on October 23-30, 2023.
