Director of Housing and Urban Development

Received his undergraduate degree from İstanbul University Department of Civil Engineering.

He was employed at private sector until 2009 and in November of 2009 he started working at Directorate of Technical Works of Fatih Municipality. He served as Director of Technical Works between 2012 and 2016. In May 2016, he was assigned as Director of Housing and Urban Development. Also he worked as Director of Building Audit between 2016 and 2018. He is still continuing his duty as Director of Housing and Urban Development.

He is also Chairman of Protection, Implementation and Inspection Bureau Commission (KUDEB) and Municipal Representative at Istanbul 2nd Restoration Board.

Directorate of Housing and Urban Development

The Directorate conducts planning of housing activities in district area and implementation of these activities according to the housing plan in force, while doing that provides zoning status certificate, construction-direction relief, elevation-section certificate, expropriation for road, examination of architecture, statistics, installation projects and approval procedures. The directorate prepares construction licenses, property ownership, construction servitude, and change of type procedures and numbering procedures while also evaluating urban transformation applications and performs rental assistance procedures.
